Renner Energies Fund

Supporting our environment and the communities

The Renner Energies Fund is an employee-led initiative, founded in 2022 with the support and expertise of the King Baudouin Foundation of Belgium.

We have endowed the Fund with a mission to support projects in Belgium and France that align with our Company's purpose and values. The Fund focuses on two key strategic pillars: the protection of the environment and the development of social cohesion. The projects financed by the Fund include those related to biodiversity, forests, agriculture, soil, water, and initiatives to tackle fuel poverty.

How are the projects selected?

The Fund's management committee - which includes external experts in environmental and social matters, representatives of the King Baudouin Foundation, and a representative of Renner Energies - selects the projects to be financed. The selection is based on proposals from an independent jury. The King Baudouin Foundation has a right of veto to ensure complete objectivity in the choice of projects.

Which projects are eligible?

To be eligible for the Fund's support, projects must be located in France or Belgium and demonstrate a positive impact on civil society and the environment. They are evaluated based on their relevance to our Company's values and purpose.
